Geofoto Scandinavia entered into a new 2-year contract with the State Geodetic Administration of Croatia, expanding their system for scanning and data conversion of cadastre and topographical maps. The contract announces an important project prior to the World Bank issuing a 26 million euro loan for a 5 year land registry and cadastre map project for the Republic of Croatia.

US Geological Survey announced that after extensive market research, they believe that Geofoto Scandinavia is the only source that can provide scanners that meet the USGS' requirements, hence USGS anticipates entering into non-competitive negotiations for the purchase of up to five (5) large format high resolution scanning systems including maintenance and training
