Geofoto Scandinavia has entered into regional distributor agreements selecting Raster Tech and ArtSystems to be the preferred suppliers of the KartoScan series of high performance scanners in the French and UK markets.

Geofoto Scandinavia signed an agreement with British Telecom for the development of a solution for capturing of cable diagram vector data from scanned maps/diagrams. The agreement is Geofoto Scandinavia's second project for data conversion of postitional data in telecom charts, and puts Geofoto Scandinavia in the lead as specialists in data capturing solutions for the telecommunications industry.

Geofoto Scandinavia signed a contract through its preferred supplier, CAD Affiliates, with US Geological Survey for the delivery of the first of several large format flat bed scanners KartoScan FB IV. The scanner will be installed in Rolla, Missouri.

Geofoto Scandinavia made partnership arrangements with SCP Software GMBH who will represent Geofoto Scandinavia in the German speaking and Benelux markets. Press release

Geofoto Scandinavia signed an agreement with National Cadastre Programme in Hungary for creating a more efficient solution for data conversion of cadastre maps based on their software called proCap (Property Data Capture).

Geofoto Scandinavia was awarded the delivery of one flat bed scanner Kartoscan FBIV to OTC (l'Office de la Topographie et de la Cartographie) This will be  Geofoto Scandinavias first installation in Northern Africa and the company expects the scanner to be the first in a series of technology transfer programs to the region.

Geofoto Scandinavia was elected to convert existing geological and base maps for  the exploration area in northern Mosambique. The main contractor is Norconsult and the Norwegian Geological Survey is responsible for parts of the exploration as a sub contractor.

Two years ago, the Norwegian Hydrographic Service and Geofoto Scandinavia developed a Hydrographic Fair Sheets Data Conversion line that reduced the production time and ensured the output quality. After a sucessfull first production year, a data conversion contract was signed for 2003.

Geofoto Scandinavia signed a partnership agreement with Incatel, the leading provider of telecommunication network information management systems (NIMS). This alliance will help Geofoto Scandinavia focus its effort on continuing to be specialists in data capturing of telecommunication legacy data.

Geofoto Scandinavia was awarded by The French National Geographic Institute - IGN - for a KartoScan FB IV delivery to their head quarter in Paris. The award came after an international tender in 2002

Boeing Company decide to aquire the fifth flatbed scanner from Geofoto Scandinavia. The KartoScan FB IV will be installed in The Boeing Company's premises in Long Beach.
